Typical Applications:
- Rugged Applications where there is a lot of vibration, thermal shock, or twisting in equipment.
- People that will operate the equipment for a long period of time as the total cost of the radiator (when you include repairs) is lower over the life of the unit than any other type of core
- Where downtime is worth a lot of money
Pros
- Lower overall life costs- each tube is cleaned and put back in service time and time again. Only rubber grommets are required to be changed on every service, not the entire core. If there is a leak or a damaged tube you only have to replace 1 tube, not the entire core
- Each tube is individually removable
- Field repairable (many times in the machine itself without having to remove the radiator)
- Extremely rugged- will handle vibration & thermal shock extremely well
